29 March '06: Work underway building the new platform's brick retaining wall. The existing overhead stanchions will clearly have to be replaced and removed and replaced before the new platform line can be laid.

29 March '06: The new platform's brick retaining wall is quickly going up on the concrete base, seen in one of the 05 March pics. New rail is lying ready for use behind the protecting blue fence.Previous | Next20 May '06: By May, a temporary footbridge has been erected over platform 19 to access Princes Mall, with the footbridge and access via Waverley Steps being closed for work.
