29 March '06: The renewed track through platforms 1/19 has now had a new scissor crossover installed, which will connect to the track serving the new platform. This was installed over the weekend of 25/26 March, having been delivered by 66135 and 66140 on BPA 'Boplate' wagons. The crossover is in a different position to the former pointwork, requiring the protecting signals to be moved.Previous | Next29 March '06: Work underway building the new platform's brick retaining wall. The existing overhead stanchions will clearly have to be replaced and removed and replaced before the new platform line can be laid.
